As a practitioner of women’s imaging, you know the importance of being at the forefront of change in medicine. I invite you to join a group of like-minded professionals in the Society for the Advancement of Women’s Imaging who are dedicated to promoting the subspecialty of women’s imaging in training programs, research initiatives, and educations meeting.
Although breast imaging is often the major focus of women’s imaging, physicians in the practice of women’s imaging provide the full spectrum of imaging related to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases unique to women and are in a position to alert women to risk factors, diagnostic tests, and treatments available for diseases beyond those related to the breast. SAWI’s goal is to bring the full realization of what women’s imaging can and should be.
SAWI provides an international forum to exchange information and interact with leading physicians, scientists, and industry representatives who are actively involved in the multidisciplinary field of women’s imaging. Additionally, members of SAWI receive discounted registration at our scientific meeting and access to our online membership directory.
